A creative ritual born from comfort, care, and craftsmanship

Fragrance became a quiet form of restoration for our founder, Danielle DiBlasi, during the years she spent as a full-time caregiver for her father. In the midst of long days shaped by stress, grief, and uncertainty, scent offered her a way to reconnect with herself. She began blending fragrances inspired by places she loved, memories she wanted to hold onto, and moods she longed to cultivate within her home.

What started as a therapeutic outlet soon grew into a passion for candle making and fragrance design. After discovering how many conventional candle ingredients contained toxins, Danielle became committed to sourcing cleaner, higher-quality, non-toxic materials–creating products that felt refined and memorable. From that commitment, Casa Figlia was born: a house of fragrance rooted in comfort, craftsmanship, and wellness.

Years later, that same spirit evolved into Amicasa: a name inspired by the words friend and home. The fragrance bar was created as a reflection of the friendships, conversations, and moments of connection that emerged through Danielle’s creative journey with scent.

Today, Amicasa is more than a place to pour a candle or design a perfume. It is a space to take time for yourself, connect with others, and create something deeply personal–something that reminds you of who you are, where you’ve been, or how you want to feel when you return home.
